Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Colin and Penelope Tie the Knot

Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 7 Review

Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 6 ended on one of the biggest cliffhangers of the season so far, and it was truly bigger than the one Part 1 ended with. There has been plenty of love between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, but that can only mean that angst was bound to follow, and that is exactly what happened in Episode 7, which was also the penultimate episode of Bridgerton 3.

For all those who have loved Colin, Penelope, and the romance between them this season, admittedly, Episode 7 will not be a breezy watch, but it definitely is an important one. There’s plenty to look forward to, including the biggest wedding of the era when #Polin finally ties the knot. In this review, we will explore a few more elements that were a part of Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 7.

Is This Colin and Penelope’s Happily Ever After?

One of the things about Bridgerton Season 3 that stands out as compared to the previous seasons is the fact that things are happening a little too quickly this season. In fact, Colin and Penelope’s relationship timeline might just give you a whiplash over how happy they are one moment and the next, all has simply gone down the drain. This is possibly the best way to describe the events of Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 7.

In this episode, it is revealed that Colin now knows the truth about Penelope being Lady Whistledown and he is beyond distraught. Colin has never felt as betrayed as he does in this episode, and it is heartbreaking for Penelope and the viewers.

While the two are in the worst part of their relationship so far, they must also prepare to be married, which Colin agrees to because the pair has been previously intimate.

Nevertheless, the whiplash continues in Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 7 because one moment you might be convinced that the romance between the two will be over, but the next, you will find them kissing in the alley.

A lot is going on with both these characters, and the episode feels a little stuffy. Not to forget that they also get married! It all just happens very quickly, and somewhere, the season loses its charm in the rush.

Of course, we will continue to hold the series in high regard, and Episode 7 also ended on a cliffhanger of sorts because Penelope stands her ground and lets her now husband, Colin, know she wants to be Lady Whistledown, however, he is far from okay with it. At least, at this dreadful time, Penelope finally has her best friend Eloise back.

Conclusion

There is almost too much to keep up with in Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 7 and it is tough to keep up with characters beyond Penelope and Colin. Do let us know in the comments what you thought about this episode!
