What Is Fast & Furious All About?
Fast & Furious is a massive franchise consisting of films, short films, television shows, video games, toys, etc. The first film in the franchise was called The Fast and the Furious and it was released in 2001. The first three films were mostly focused on street racing.

How Did Fast X End?
Towards the end of Fast X, Tess has been admitted to the hospital. Dom and Aimes join hands to counter Dante who has abducted Little B. Jakob dies while trying to save Dom as he is able to save his son. Dom attacks Dante later on as well as his son. Suddenly, the team along with Tej and others reach out to help Dom.
It is revealed Aimes has been working with Dante. He shoots at the plane and they realize that Dante has put bombs on the dam to kill everyone. Meanwhile, Gisele Yashar emerges in Antarctica and she is alive. She ends up saving Cipher and Letty. We later see Luke Hobbs going inside a theatre that is empty where Dante calls him and threatens him. The film ends with Hobbs saying that it is not hard to locate him.
Is Fast X Part 2 Happening?
Yes Fast X Part 2 is going to happen and it will be the last film in the entire installment. Diesel himself had confirmed that it would be the last film of the franchise. Earlier, another part was considered but the moderate response of Fast X led to the studios greenlighting only one film in the franchise. Since it’s the last film of this decades-long franchise, expectations are sky-high, and all the subplots are expected to be concluded in it.

What To Expect From It?
Fast X had a cliffhanger ending that prepared us for Fast X Part 2. One interesting thing is that it will not have Dante Reyes (played by Jason Momoa) as the villain. Instead, there will be a new face as a threat for Dom and everyone else.
Several media reports have pointed out that Fast X Part 2 will play a throwback and a homage to the first film. This means that we might see some glimpse of illegal street racing which was the center of the initial films. There will be also only one mission, unlike the previous films that had multiple things going on.
Initially, the film was expected to drop on April 4th, 2025. However, now the makers have revealed that Fast X Part 2 will be released sometime in 2026. On Father’s Day in 2024, Vin Diesel dropped the concept art of the film which hints that we might get to see some action scenes in the snow.
