John Wick is a very popular and much-loved franchise that has emerged in Hollywood. The series consists of high-octane action thriller films headlined by Keanu Reeves. He plays the titular hitman aka Baba Yaga. There are four films in the franchise and all of them have been major successes.

What Is John Wick All About?
The first John Wick film was helmed by Chad Stahelski while Derek Kolstad penned it. The film stars Keanu Reeves seeking revenge on the gang who killed his pet dog. Right after John Wick: Chapter 4 came out, a fifth installment was announced by the makers. John Wick 5 is happening and fans are really excited about it. Keanu Reeves will be returning as the titular and deadly hitman who will go on a killing spree but for a different reason this time.
John Wick: Chapter 4 showcased the King and Winston saying goodbye to Wick at his grave which was placed next to his wife’s grave.
What To Expect From It?
In November 2023, it was announced by the Lionsgate chief that John Wick 5 and a spin-off are under work. The previous installment of the film had a very sober and silent ending. John Wick 5 might have John trying to fake his own death.
Since the character cannot die, we might see him doing tricks to avoid bloodshed. But it will eventually catch up to him. There were rumors that John Wick 5 might be directed by someone else.
However, Reeves has made it clear that he will not do the film without Chad Stahelski. There are also chances that it will serve as a prequel to the fourth installment. We will also see how he survived the events of the fourth film where it was shown that he almost died. But we know that he cannot die so there will be a reason behind all of this.

Who Will Be In The Cast?
Keanu Reeves will play the titular hitman in John Wick 5, while Ian McShane might also return as Winston Scott. Laurence Fishburne can also come back as the King while there are other actors who might come back to play supporting roles.
Tracker (played by Shamier Anderson) might also return. Lance Reddick will sadly not be returning as Charon since he passed away in March 2023 right before John Wick Chapter 4 was released.
We can also expect new actors to join the cast of John Wick 5 given that new goons and villains are introduced in every installment in the franchise. They might be popular actors or even newcomers.
