My Lady Jane has been created by Gemma Burgess while Stefan Schwartz and Jamie Babbit are the directors. It is an adaptation of several books written by Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows, and Brodi Ashton that was a retelling of the life of English noblewoman Lady Jane Grey.

The series is set in the 16th century and is about Lady Jane Grey (played by Emily Bader) as she navigates her life after escaping death.

The executive producers of the show include Burgess, Meredith Glynn, Laurie Macdonald, Sarah Bradshaw, Walter F. Parkes, and Jamie Babbit. All the episodes of My Lady Jane premiered on June 27th, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video.
