Plenty unfolded in Presumed Innocent Episode 2 because Rusty Sabich was arrested for the brutal murder of Carolyn Polhemus. Rusty was assigned as the prosecutor in Carolyn’s case, however, it was soon revealed that he had been in an intimate relationship with her whilst cheating on his wife, Barbara.

This revelation not only made Rusty a prime suspect in the murder but also isolated him from his friends and family.

Episode 2 definitely had everyone on the edge of their seats as Rusty was arrested for the murder from his own home. However, lucky for Rusty, he was granted bail by the judge, and in addition to that his good friend and talented lawyer, Raymond Horgan, took on his case before retiring.

Things might be looking good for Rusty at the moment but the episode ended with a cryptic text from an anonymous number. So truly, what is Rusty hiding?

Presumed Innocent Episode 2 ended on a cliffhanger of sorts when Rusty was spending time with his family after being granted bail from the judge, he received a text which implied that someone somewhere knew something about Rusty and his possible link to the horrific murder of Carolyn Polhemus.

What Can You Expect from Presumed Innocent Episode 3?

Rusty will have to do whatever it takes in the next episode to prove that he is not guilty of the murder even though all fingers are currently pointing at him and he doesn’t have a lot of support in his corner. In Presumed Innocent Episode 3, we will also witness how this case takes a toll on Rusty’s family who have been caught in the crossfire.
