After Mike tells Eleven he loves her, it provides a strength that leads her to break the control Vecna has on Max. However, Max also passes away after Jason intervenes. The physical body of Vecna is shot and set on fire, which ends his life.
Max comes back to life by Eleven’s power. Vecna uses Max’s death to enter Hawkins and finish Jason. Max is in a coma and there is a hint that Vecna is still around.
Is Stranger Things Season 5 Happening?
In February 2022, the Duffer Brothers had announced that Stranger Things Season 5 is going to happen and it will be the last season of the show. They initially planned to end the show with the fourth season but the follow-up season was hinted at by the makers back in 2017.
The plans to kickstart Stranger Things Season 5 were disrupted due to the pandemic which slowed down the process.
What To Expect From It?
Stranger Things Season 5 is special because it will end the epic and loved show that has continued for many years. It will showcase the Hawkins group and everyone else teaming up to fight Vecna who hasn’t died. Eleven might be pushed to her limit to defeat him since he is very powerful. Max, who was comatose, might come back and live.
We can expect a very explosive finale which will collapse the Upside Down that started all the problems for the town folks. Besides, there will be some more subplots around the characters and the events that would be interesting to watch.
