Supacell Episode 4 Review: Are the 5 Superheroes Finally Together?

Supacell Episode 4 Review

While there are several unique elements to Netflix’s latest superhero series, Supacell, one that particularly stands out is the fact that the main characters aren’t too secretive about their powers. Their loved ones know, and some people on the street know. This is only one of the many elements that sets Supacell apart from other movies and series in the genre.

Now, our focus shifts to Supacell Episode 4, and things are certainly moving along, at a little faster pace as compared to the rest of the episodes we have seen so far. While there is more of Andre in this episode, it also brings the rest of the superheroes together…almost. Keep reading our review to find out more, and be aware, there will be spoilers ahead.

What Ties Everyone Together?

As far as Episode 4 of Supacell goes, it focuses on Andre, who has only been around in bits and pieces in the previous episodes. So anyone who was looking forward to learning more about Andre, and seeing more of him, this is the perfect episode for it. Andre’s struggles have been a little different from the others.

He has a son, AJ, one who does look up to him, and the battle of being able to spend time with him has been a tough one. So now that Andre has AJ around, he doesn’t want to mess anything up, but with these powers, it might not be the case.

Meanwhile, Sabrina’s internal battle continues and decides to turn herself in, only to realize that the “murder” she wanted to report never really happened, in this case, was erased in some way. Luckily, Sabrina is back with her sister, as they swear to never talk about what happened the night before. Finally, some secrets!

Michael’s struggles are also the same in Supacell Episode 4 as he tries to convince Rodney to join forces with him, but alas, he is far from convinced. Meanwhile, dents are forming in his relationship with Dionne, and he’s also having trouble at work, because all his focus is currently on bringing the group of five together but failing every time, no matter how close he gets.

Admittedly, Supacell Episode 4 is one of the more packed episodes of the series so far, and we aren’t just talking in terms of action, even though there is plenty of that. While there aren’t all answers available just yet, after Sabrina and Michael finally meet, we realize that the one element that might tie these superheroes together is “sickle cell” and the presence of it in their parents.

Conclusion

The episode ends on a cliffhanger like never before because Andre, Rodney, Tazer, and Sabrina are finally in one room, and the person missing is Michael, the one needed the most. Nevertheless, things are getting more interesting, so make sure you keep a lookout for our review of the next episode!
