Brendok’s Story Is Out There

The Acolyte Episode 7 is named Choice and it was released on July 9th, 2024. It was written by Jasmyne Flournoy, Charmaine DeGraté, and Jen Richards while Kogonada directed it.

The episode showcases what took place in Brendok where the fire was ignited by Mae which engulfed a lot of people. Indara, Sol, and Kelnacca were on that planet to look for something called vergence. Sol then sees Mae and her sister inside the forest. So eventually trailed them to where Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith) trained them.

Aniseya then did mind control on Tobin to make them go back to Coruscant. This is why Osha looks without the dark ting like Mae. Later on, Sol tries to make Mae fail a test and hence approaches Osha’s test differently. Osha passes the test, Sol doesn’t sign the papers and gets the sisters separated from each other in the coven.

Tobin Finds Out About Mae And Osha

In The Acolyte Episode 7 also showcases the blood test of the sisters being examined by Tobin. He realizes that their symbionts are same; it hints that they are artificial and were created.

Meanwhile, Sol meets Aniseya as well as Koril to inspect the origin of Mae and Osha. A fight ensues and Aniseya ends up getting killed by Sol. Her death is tragic and it leaves the viewers with a feeling that the character should have lived a bit more.

Mae falls from the collapse of the bridge but it’s unclear how she still survived. Osha, on the other hand, is knocked unconscious and is on the ship of the Jedis.
