Nuck decided to shoot Rob after the latter did not see him as the new boss of the region. The body was put up on the staircase of the townhouse his mother owned. This was done so that Alicia could find the body. This is how a major character ended and it shocked everyone but didn’t surprise.

Because, as per the makers, he had been living in a time that was borrowed so it had to run out. The fight to rule the South Side of Chicago got really intense in The Chi Season 6 Episode 16 which is available on Paramount Plus.

Gradually, Douda became the main antagonist of the show and he was pretty much feared by the main characters. But The Chi Season 6 Episode 16, which took place on Thanksgiving, ended his life and his grip on a large chunk of South Side. This was the main highlight of an episode that had some small happenings as well.

But before the finale, there were hints that his life will be ended. This came after a long time of mere speculations around his fate which was sealed by his foes. The beginning of The Chi Season 6 Episode 16 starts at a nightclub with guns pointed at Douda.

We then see the cops investigating the scene of the crime. But he was no innocent person. The killing of Alonzo, the attorney, cemented how ruthless he was. This led to him fearing for his life which was shown in the last two episodes.

It was expected that Alicia herself would kill him but it seems she doesn’t want to get her hands dirty. She was holding a gun to his head but apparently didn’t kill him. So the shooting was done by Nuck. Douda was after him when he realized that Nuck had been involved in some shady kind of deals.

Nuck was pissed after getting beaten by Douda earlier. This is where he probably plotted with Alicia to do the killing himself. Another thing is that his family faced threats from Douda which he never forgot and ultimately executed the deed in The Chi Season 6 Episode 16.

Conclusion

The Chi is a tight-knit show and its current season took the tension to another level. Douda’s death was the highlight but was not totally unexpected by viewers. The Chi Season 6 Episode 16 ended a huge chapter with bullet shots and created a finale that was very well made.
