Lena Waithe has created The Chi which is about several people living in South Side, Chicago whose lives change after a murder takes place in the locality. These people are Kevin Williams (played by Alex R. Hibbert), Emmett Washington (Jacob Latimore), Jada Washington (Yolonda Ross), and Stanley Jackson aka Papa (Shamon Brown Jr.) among others.
Waithe has also served as the executive producer with Ayanna Floyd Davis, Common, Rick Famuyiwa, and Jet Wilkinson among others. The show started on January 7th, 2018 with ten episodes. The Chi Season 6 was divided into two parts, with the first one dropping on August 6th, 2023, and the second one released on May 12th, 2024.
How Did The Chi Season 6 End?
The final episode of The Chi Season 6 is called Thanksgiving and it was helmed by Deondray Goosfield and Quincy LeNear Gossfield. The episode starts off at a bar where people have pointed a gun at Douda and we also see Alicia among them with him he has been at loggerheads.
