What Is Tokyo Vice All About?

Tokyo Vice is the creation of J. T. Rogers and is based on the real story of Jake Adelstein (played by Ansel Elgort) who went to Japan and got enrolled in a high-end newspaper. He becomes the first non-Japanese employee of that company.

The series shows him teaming up with Hiroto Katagiri (played by Ken Watanabe) who is a detective in the police department of Tokyo. Together, they encounter challenges while doing their job and also confront the Yakuzas.
