House of the Dragon has managed to break the jinx that Game of Thrones finale had bought. This fantasy drama series has dragons, swordsmen, and all the things that have fascinated viewers. The success of its maiden season has led to the second season which is currently going on.

What Is House of the Dragon All About?

House of the Dragon serves as a prequel to the popular show Game of Thrones and is the creation of Ryan Condal and George R. R. Martin. It is an adaption of Martin’s book Fire & Blood which came out in 2018.

The series takes place a century before the events of its parent show and chronicles the war for the throne that led to the end of the House Targaryen. This fight was labeled as Dance of the Dragons.

Rhaenyra Targaryen (played by Emma D’Arcy) is told by Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best) that Alicent Hightower should be talked into avoiding the war. Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) reaches Harrenhal and Ser Simon Strong bows down to him for the allegiance.

Meanwhile, Larys becomes the Master of Whispers of Aegon. Later, Aegon encounters Aemond inside the brothel where the latter is naked. He is taunted by the king.

The councilors of Rhaenyra try to convince her to war after the people of Criston are spotted going towards Harrenhall. Rhaenyra uses a disguise to go to King’s Landing and meet Alicent. However, the peace talk fails. It is revealed that Alicent mistook Aegon to be the king as Viserys was mentioning Aegon the conqueror.

What To Expect From House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4?

House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4 is called A Dance of Dragons and it’s helmed by Alan Taylor. A one-minute-long promo of the episode showcases Alicent telling Aegon that there was peace when her husband was alive.

She tells him he is half the king his father was. We then see several scenes of war as Criston is moving forward with the troop and even beheads someone. We see snippets of the war in Riverland.

The promo then shows Rhaenyra stating that she will unleash the Blacks’ dragons for the war. This was advised to her by the council which she had rejected. Now that the threat is in front of her, she decides to send the dragons to the war.

It means that there will be total destruction when they are faced with this beast. The Riverland war will be at the front of House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4 so we can expect a lot of bloodshed and violence along with some drama.
