What Is Star Wars: The Bad Batch All About?

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is a direct sequel to an earlier animated show called Star Wars: The Clone Wars which ran between 2008 and 2020. It is helmed by Brad Rau as a director of supervision while Jennifer Corbett is the writer’s head. The plot follows the namesake Bad Batch (aka Clone Force 99) who are an ensemble of clone troopers that had a mutation in their genes.

These characters were shown in The Clone Wars. They are able to withstand Order 66’s hard influence on them. Most of the brethren with them have turned into loyal slaves of Palpatine who is the emperor. This puts them on the hitlist of the empire and they are labeled as fugitives. Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 showcases Omega who is their sister as they try to team up together.

It starts with the killers, who are actually clones, entering into the ship of Phee while a check is going on. Her computer gets hacked by them and they find out the location of Omega in Pabu. The team of assassins reaches Pabu right when the Bad Batch is leaving.

Maraunder is totally cramped by them and the team of Imperial strike is called for rescue. The ones who survive try to escape the assassins. Meanwhile, Hunter is after a gunship which he plans to steal. But Omega gives herself up and asks Pabu’s population to be left alone.

She also asks for the Batch to get the right to find out the Tantiss that belongs to her. They leave the planet taking Omega with them. Crosshair tries to put a tracker on them but it doesn’t work.

What To Expect From Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 12?

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 12 is called Juggernaut and it will show Omega being on her own after the tracker attempt failed. She made a bold decision and saved many lives. She might team up with Emerie after Tantiss is returned.

We can expect for her to go against the Empire after some persuasion. Kaminoan might also join hands with her. It will be difficult without the trackers for the Bad Batch to find out the location of Omega. So we can’t expect the next episode to answer this query.

Just like earlier, she might have to resort to escaping once again. Commander Cody might also be the next shadow trooper given the hints in the episodes. Dee Bradley Baker will return as the voice of the Bad Batch members while Michelle Ang will be voicing Omega in the next episode.
