It takes place on June 8th, 1996 at Point Place and starts with Jay Kelso (played by Mace Coronel) dancing to Macarena’s song with Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp) as Gwen Runck (Ashley Aufderheide) looks puzzled. They talk about Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) coming over.

That ’90s Show Part 2 Episode 1 also has them hear the horn sound and a funny situation takes place between the three as they rush towards the door to welcome Leia who is with Red Forman (Kurtwood Smith). Leia and Gwen meet Ozzie (Reyn Doi) as well as Nate Runck (Maxwell Acee Donovan) and Nikki (Sam Morelos) and we realize Leia is nervous about something and it is about her coming clean.

Kitty tells Donna that she needs her family close by during a conversation. Red is puzzled by the things Kitty says. Suddenly, we move to Leia and Jay where the former says she has something important to say to her. That ’90s Show Part 2 Episode 1 also has Jay mistakenly confessing that he likes her.

This is followed by a revelation that he flirted with a girl to get a free shake at a restaurant. He then makes another confession which is hilarious and she receives all this in good spirits. Leia realizes that Jay is sensitive and her confession might affect him badly so she lies.

Subsequently, Leia believes that Nate accidentally sent Nikki her secrets and they goofily plan to go inside her house and delete it before Nikki reads. This leads to some really hilarious attempts to stop Nikki including telling her that her house burnt down and that Nate wants to take her out on a date.

Donna tells Red that she might have ditched Kitty. He shows her a miniature house model he has created. Kitty then shows up and Donna tells her that she does not want to talk about that house. She then takes her daughter and leaves.

A conversation between Leia and her mother takes place. She says that she wants friends and a hot boyfriend but to keep it all, she will need to keep lying which she doesn’t want to do. Donna then erases the message that was sent to Nikki. However, Nate pops up in the voice message and says it was a fake message. That ’90s Show Part 2 Episode 1 ends with everyone finding out about Nate and Leia. Jay hilariously jumps on Nate to beat him up and the episode concludes.

Conclusion

That ’90s Show Part 2 Episode 1 is a fun kickstart of Part 2. It continues from the maiden season and has all the characters on the front. The entire episode hinges on Leia’s issues and the actress has done an incredible job with it. All the actors have a charm that’s hard to describe.

The episode has a light humor throughout which is its signature and the laugh tracks sounds are low which was really amazing to hear. This is because they don’t overpower what’s happening on screen. Overall, it was a super fun episode with a light plot that was also breezy.
