What Is The Boys All About?

Eric Kripke has developed The Boys and he is also the showrunner. It is adapted from the namesake comic book series which was penned by Darick Robertson and Garth Ennis. The series is about a group of vigilantes of the same name who are up against several superheroes who have been misusing their power but have public support. They work under a corporation called Vought which manages them.

Kripke along with Seth Rogen, Dan Trachtenberg, Phil Sgriccia, and Evan Goldberg among others are the executive producers of the show. It began on July 26th, 2019 with all episodes dropping on Amazon Prime Video. The Boys Season 4 premiered on June 13th, 2024.

What Happened In The Previous Episode?

The Boys Season 4 Episode 5 is named Beware the Jabberwock, My Son and it was released on June 27th, 2024. Daphne tells Hughie that she had injected Compound V in his father. He then starts interacting with the two after his father wakes up.

The blame for Ezekiel’s demise is put on Annie. Later, Billy the Butcher tells the team that there is a virus that can actually kill supes and Neuman has a hold of it. Stan Edgar accepts the boys offer of getting that virus and in exchange, he gets free from jail.

They reach a farmhouse and realize the animals have also been given V. Neuman frees Stan after he is again sent to jail. Meanwhile, Hughie Sr. ends up killing many people in the hospital after he fails to control his powers. His son gives him a lethal injection.

Cameron gets beat up by the supes after being accused of leaking the video. Frenchie surrenders to the cops for his earlier criminal acts. Sameer has been abducted by Butcher and he informs Joe about it to find out the virus.

What To Expect From The Boys Season 4 Episode 6?

The Boys Season 4 Episode 6 is called Dirty Business and it was written by Anslem Richardson. The episode will showcase what Butcher does with Sameer whose legs are also severed by him.

He will tell the Boys about Sameer’s death to lead them to replicate the powerful virus that might bring down Homelander. Meanwhile, Kimiko will find out that Frenchie has turned himself and might either try to convince him otherwise or forcefully get him out.

The relationship between Homelander and his son might also see some more twists in The Boys Season 4 Episode 6. His son has felt empowered ever since Homelander set him free with no restrictions.

So we can expect him to gravitate more towards Homelander as Butcher is trying his best to stop the supes. Annie will have to overcome the image that has been built against her and be called a baby killer. The story will also focus on Hughie who is grieving the loss of his father.
