Twelve Episode 6 Review
Episode Six opens with a flashback showing Mir and Kangji in the forest, attempting to capture a spirit that has become elusive. Despite their efforts, the spirit evades them, prompting a strategic separation. Nearby, Megobi uses his powers to detect the spirit but fails. Mir expresses concern that the spirit, which used to appear only at night, is now roaming continuously, signaling an ominous change. Kangji suggests returning with their team next time, but Mir insists on staying, intending to meet Ogwi. Kangji warns Mir against this, emphasizing the dangers and consequences if their comrades Maro and Tasan find out, especially for Ogwi, who is human and vulnerable. Kangji underscores the team’s mission to help humans, not fall in love with them, but lets Mir proceed this time.
In the present, Ogwi confronts Shaman, accusing him of betrayal for taking the stone. A fierce battle ensues between Ogwi and Samin, where Ogwi’s powerful wings overpower Samin, culminating in Samin’s death by sword. Maruk tries to awaken Mir, but Ogwi stops him, questioning whether Mir’s memory has returned. Ogwi reveals his intent to erase Maruk’s memories and bury him alive, mirroring what was done to him. Suddenly, Samin reawakens, utilizing his powers to engulf the area in smoke and helping the team escape. Maruk survives but is gravely injured and calls Tasan, warning him not to come as he is near death. Samin, now empowered to control humans, urges Tasan to open Hell Mouth to prevent the extinction of humans, since protecting humans is their primary duty.
Meanwhile, Ogwi abducts Mir. Samin’s possession of Mir’s Dragon Solar power makes him nearly unstoppable, demanding the team find Mir at all costs. Maruk regrets not returning earlier but is reassured by Tasan, who is en route. However, Maruk dies before help arrives. The heroes mourn Maruk’s death, placing his staff with his body as Maruki mysteriously disappears. Gamsun reminisces about past events when Maro assured him that their mission to save the world was divinely ordained, although Tasan questions the cost of such divine wishes, especially the loss of family members.
Tasan arrives at Hell Mouth and attempts to open it using a hammer. After multiple tries, the gate opens, releasing the heroes’ powers but also unleashing dark forces that threaten to conquer the world within a day. The team resolves to find Mir and defeat Samin and Ogwi. Dark clouds spread ominously across the world, causing chaos. Samin uses the stone to turn civilians into spirits, controlling them to block roads and terrify people. Meanwhile, Wool’s powers return, healing Gamsun. Mir is carried by Gavi but crashes into a rock, remaining unconscious.
The episode flashes back to Hete, who has formed his own team and attacks the heroes. Tyson repeatedly wounds Hete but fails to kill him. Maro attempts to finish Hete but is stopped by Tyson. Maro warns that Hete is a malevolent spirit that must be destroyed. Using his staff, Maro temporarily incapacities Hete, but Hete recovers and severely injures Maro. Tasan arrives and rescues Maruk. Four family members of Tasan confront Hete but are killed. With no options left, Tasan fights and ultimately kills Hete, who disappears afterward.
In the final scenes, the dark forces are sealed inside Hell Mouth along with the heroes’ powers. The episode ends with a promise of continuation in Episode Seven, set to release on Saturday.
