Is You Season 5 Happening?

Netflix has greenlit You Season 5 and they have also confirmed that it will be the final season of the show. The production of the show was delayed by the Hollywood strikes and it finally began in March 2024.

A major development happened as Sera Gamble stepped down as the showrunner. You Season 5 will have Justin W. Lo and Michael Foley as its showrunners. It will finally conclude the storyline of Joe, the serial killer who has been on a killing spree since the maiden season.

What To Expect From It?

The initial seasons were based on novels so it was easier to predict where the plot would head. Now, we can only speculate that Joe will meet his eventual end and he might die in You Season 5. We can expect a lot of killings also since that’s in the nature of the character but his crimes will eventually pay in the final season.

Who Will Be In The Cast?

You Season 5 will have Penn Badgley returning as Joe Goldberg while Madeline Brewer will again play Bronte. Other actors who will return for the finale are Anna Camp (Raegan/Maddie Lockwood), Griffin Matthews (Teddy Lockwood), Natasha Behnam (Dominique), Pete Ploszek (Harrison) and Tom Francis (Clayton) among others. A few new actors might also join the cast since the final season might have a different setting.

We don’t know when You Season 5 will drop on Netflix but it will be sometime in 2024.
