The second episode witnesses Rostov exploring the hotel with some assistance from Nina. He gets an upgraded room and the key to the roof. But he realizes that his sister was killed probably because of the Bolsheviks.

Rostov finds out that was spared because of his attribution to a poem, which he didn’t write. It was penned by Mikhail Mindich aka Mishka (played by Fehinti Balogun) and the two were in the university around the same time. The episode also referenced the demise of Vladimir Lenin. It also bid adieu to Nina, who was an important figure in Rostov’s life inside the hotel.

What To Expect from A Gentleman in Moscow Episode 3?

A Gentleman in Moscow Episode 3 is given the name of The Last Rostov and it is helmed by Sarah O’Gorman. The previous episode has made it clear that the staff of the Hotel Metropol Moscow are not very welcoming of Alexander as they see him as a spy who has possible connections with the people who started the revolution.

This aspect can be the theme of the next episode. With Nina gone, he will once again feel very lonely. Luckily, Anna is there and the two have a liking for each other. His rapport with Mishka can be addressed in the episode since he also liked Rostov’s sister. We can expect more actual references in the show of historical events that were taking place in Russia at that time.

Barring the lead actors, the episode will also feature Daniel Cerqueria as (Vasily), Björn Hlynur Haraldsson (Emily Zhukovsky), Johnny Harris (Osip Glebnikov), Leah Harvey (Marina Samarova), John Heffernan (The Bishop) and Paul Ready (Prince Nikolai Petrov) among others.
