Created by Mark Protosevich and directed by Fernando Meirelles and Adam Arkin, Sugar on Apple TV+ follows the life of John Sugar, a private detective who has been tasked to find the granddaughter of a big-shot Hollywood producer. Set in Los Angeles, Sugar has now completed 5 episodes, and so far, there have been some intriguing developments, despite the overall lackluster storyline that struggles to find its purpose.

What Happened in Sugar Episode 5?

Sugar Episode 6 has a lot of questions that need to be answered, and most of them are related to the Siegel family. Firstly, it is important to know if Jonathan Siegel, who hired John Sugar to begin with, will be getting better any time soon, and more importantly if there’s more to his illness than one knows. Secondly, is Davy Siegel dead or alive? This might be one of the key questions that need to be answered in Sugar Episode 6, and thirdly, where is Olivia Siegel?
While Sugar Episode 6 might not answer all those questions, it certainly will tell us more about Davy and whether or not he is alive. In addition, the focus, of course, will remain on John Sugar and his primary case in hand, and any breakthroughs he might encounter. It has been established that Melanie and John are pretty much a duo at this point, at least when it comes to Olivia, and Sugar Episode 6 will showcase them working together once again!
