Michelle King and Robert King are the creators of Elsbeth. The series works as a spin-off of The Good Fight and The Good Wife and is about Elsbeth Tascioni (played by Carrie Preston) who is a very popular attorney in Chicago. She then shifts to New York to help the police department after being tasked to supervise consent decree. However, situations change quickly and she ends up functioning as a detective.

Unlike many shows on similar themes, Elsbeth reveals the identity of the killer in the beginning for the audience. Robert, Michelle, Jonathan Tolins, and Liz Glotzer are the executive producers of the show. The series premiered on February 29th, 2024.
