Frankly Speaking Episode 4

Frankly Speaking Episode 4 Review

Netflix’s K-drama, Frankly Speaking has reached its fourth episode, and by this point of the series, things are only getting better. As a K-drama, Frankly Speaking has checked so many boxes already and that’s more than evident after seeing the vast difference in the quality of storytelling between the first episode, to the most recent. Frankly Speaking Episode 4 was truly one of a kind!

So far, Frankly Speaking Episode 4 has been one of the best episodes of the K-drama as it deals with the aftermath of Song Ki-baek’s decision to leave the corrupt news station, whilst also putting him in several situations with the love interest and female protagonist, On Woo-ju. Here’s our review of Frankly Speaking Episode 4, so make sure you stick around till the end!

Song Ki-baek and On Woo-ju Come Closer

Frankly Speaking Episode 4 isn’t just one of the best episodes of the K-drama so far, but also one of the most creative and romantic episodes so far, so there’s plenty to look forward to here. If you’re a fan of watching the chemistry between Song Ki-baek and On Woo-ju build, then Frankly Speaking Episode 4 is the one for you!

This episode starts with the aftermath of Ki-baek making the big decision of leaving the news channel and Frankly Speaking Episode 4 showcases the internal conflict Ki-baek is having with himself. On one hand, he’s happy for the stand he took, meanwhile, on the other hand, there are more than many bills to pay.

In addition, this particular conflict scene was portrayed with the help of three different versions of Ki-baek, which made it all the more interesting. Frankly Speaking often sets itself apart from other K-dramas with some uniqueness in every episode.

Now that Ki-baek has moved in back with his parents, he is in close quarters with Woo-ju, who is the landlady’s daughter. There’s a lot going on in this particular episode, but more often than not, these two characters come together, and there’s always a spark.

Speaking of spark, Ki-baek also spends a good amount of time in this episode trying to figure out his switch, while Woo-ju is forced to be in the same office with her ex-boyfriend. Despite the ex being in the picture, and Frankly Speaking attempting to show a love triangle, we don’t really see it happening in this K-Drama.

The last 15 minutes or so of Frankly Speaking Episode 4 are probably the most important ones, and it feels like a surreal experience for the most part. Woo-ju and Ki-baek are closer than ever and are finally going to work together. Both of them help each other figure things out, and this marks a new chapter for the K-drama.

Conclusion

Frankly Speaking Episode 4 was exciting, wholesome, and as always, hilarious, while giving the viewers plenty to look forward to. Do let us know in the comments what you think of this K-drama so far!
