What is the Plot of Latency?

The premise of the movie revolves around the protagonist Hana, who is a professional gamer and is given the opportunity to try a new and unique gaming equipment that relies heavily on the use of AI to track the brain’s activity.

Hana, along with her best friend, Jen, decide to give this new equipment a shot, but what begins as an exciting gaming affair, soon turns into a nightmare Hana can’t seem to wake up from.

The official trailer of Latency gives a glimpse to the viewers of what they can expect from this movie, and there are a fair amount of jump scares. In addition, we also get to witness Hana, her personality, and her fears.

The Cast of Latency

While this movie might not boast an ensemble cast, the lead actress, Sasha Luss, is more than enough to make this movie a haunting nightmare after a game goes wrong. Luss, a Russian actress and model, is best known for her work in projects like Shattered, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Anna and Sheroes.

Joining Luss in Latency is Alexis Ren, who will play the role of the “best friend.” Ren has previously appeared in movies like Deported, The Enforcer, and Dotty and Soul. Together, Ren and Luss make a power duo in Latency!
