Mayor of Kingstown has been able to grip the viewers with its strong narrative since it premiered in 2021. The Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon-created series is being loved by everyone thanks to the way it deals with the crime thriller genre.

Kyle Gets Into SWAT
Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Episode 5 is called Iris and it was released on June 30th, 2024. It starts with Kyle McLusky (played by Taylor Handley) as he is doing well in a training exercise.
He eventually becomes a member of the elite SWAT team to tackle crime in the city. However, Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) is not happy about it. He is told about how this would make Mariam (Dianne Wiest) really proud of Kyle.
Amid the rampant overdosing cases in Kingstown, Mike tells Evelyn (Necar Zadegan) that Bunny (Tobi Bamtefa) will take care of this issue. Konstantin’s link with the drugs is clear since the opioid and meth in them are from Russia.
Mike doesn’t want this information to go out because this would lead to a war between Bunny and Konstantin since the latter is diluting his drugs. Later in Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Episode 5, Bunny tells Mike that he already has enough ammunition and arsenal to finish Konstantin and the Russians.

Mike meets Konstantin
would help Mike. But Konstantin also wants her to work for him. This has put her in a weird position as she can’t say no to him. Mike suggests she continue because if she rejects him, he might figure out her connection with Mike. This would lead to her death like Tatiana.
Iris is asked by Mike to find out anything that would rend the ongoing war between Konstantin and Bunny. She agrees to help but doesn’t want to wear a wire as it’s dangerous. As Ian and Mike observe Iris going inside Konstantin’s yacht, he tells Mike that he can figure out his need to protect her. He then mentions how Mariam would have done the same thing.
Meanwhile, Konstantin is met by Iris who comes to Cavo. The mob boss is pissed at Milo for the handling of all his strip clubs. Mike pays him a visit at the same time and is surprised to witness the presence of Iris.
He confronts the Russian for poisoning the drugs of Bunny and threatens him. Suddenly, the henchmen of Bunny show up and two of Konstantin’s men are killed. Later, Mike tells Konstantin to not target Bunny. He also confronts Bunny for making things messy.
As Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Episode 5 progresses, we see Konstantin consuming cocaine with Iris. She tells him she will do a better job than Tatiana. He then says that he will move to New York soon once the assignment is done.
Later, a drug deal takes place after which she tells Mike that it was the Aryan Brotherhood who were in the dealing. Mike and Ian then drive away from the yacht and the latter sees something in their rearview mirror.
This leads to them shouting out and driving away. Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Episode 5 ends on that cliffhanger note, leaving many questions hanging.
