My Troublesome Star Episode 6 Review

Episode six of the series “Drama My Trouble Some Star” unravels deep emotional tensions and dark secrets surrounding the character Sara and her traumatic past. The episode opens with Dua watching Sara struggle to get into a building, amused by her determination.

As Sara confronts Dua about his absence and betrayal during her accident 25 years ago, it becomes evident that she has lost her memory of those events, allowing Dua to manipulate her with lies. Meanwhile, Gucchal, Sara’s protector, notices Dua’s telltale signs of lying, sparking suspicion.

The episode further explores the strained familial relationships, particularly between Maxra and her father, highlighting the sacrifices Maxra made and the neglect she felt in comparison to Sara. On the set of a drama, Sara’s fight scene with Namju goes viral, boosting her fame unexpectedly. Dehi, a young girl from Sara’s school, entrusts Sara with signing a report card, revealing Sara’s growing influence and responsibility.

Parallel to this, Juseong Bill, a dangerous figure connected to Sara’s accident, orders a hit on Gucchal to eliminate his interference. Gucchal attempts to track a truck driver involved in Sara’s accident but finds him already discharged from the hospital and unreachable. Namju expresses frustration over the drama and his viral fight scene with Sara, but Thesuk encourages him to embrace the newfound fame brought by Sara’s rising popularity.

Sara’s sudden rise in popularity catches the attention of industry insiders, including Sanyang, who grows suspicious of Sara’s true identity. Dua’s efforts to promote Sara with posters and coffee trucks spark a confrontation where Sara accuses him of ulterior motives. Sara also promises to support Baekcha financially, acknowledging the hardships Baekcha endured during Sara’s coma and her father’s absence.

Sara investigates further by contacting the police about Gucchal, who was a young officer 25 years ago and has been searching for someone connected to Sara’s past. Meanwhile, Gucchal tracks the truck driver heading towards Sara’s building, signaling imminent danger. The driver captures Sara and takes her to an abandoned factory with intentions to kill her, but Gucchal arrives just in time to rescue her, resulting in a physical confrontation and the driver’s arrest.

The episode delves deeper into the mystery of Sara’s accident, revealing through CCTV footage that the truck driver was present both during the recent and the original accident, suggesting a deliberate attempt on Sara’s life rather than an accident. Sara and Gucchal realize that powerful forces, possibly linked to Juseong Bill, are working against her. The episode ends with a flashback to 1999, showing Sara’s father being prevented from visiting her in the hospital during her coma, only to be aided by Gucchal to see his daughter before being taken away by the police, emphasizing the ongoing struggle surrounding Sara’s past and present.

This episode skillfully weaves mystery, emotional drama, and industry intrigue, setting up a compelling narrative that explores themes of memory, family, betrayal, and resilience. It also advances the overarching plot by uncovering new threats to Sara and expanding on the complex relationships surrounding her.
