US$100,000 is handed to the winner as a prize and a record deal with Universal Music is also guaranteed. Over the years, Usher, Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Camila Cabello, Miley Cyrus and Blake Shelton have served on the panels.

The first season aired on April 26th, 2011 and its success led to several seasons. De Mol is also the executive producer along with Lee Metzger, Audrey Morrissey, Mark Burnett, Marc Jansen, Jay Bienstock, and Stijn Bakkers. The Voice Season 25 premiered on February 26th, 2024.
