Trying premiered on May 1st, 2020 on Apple TV+ while Trying Season 4 started on May 22nd, 2024. All the seasons had eight episodes in total.

Is Trying Season 5 Happening?

Apple TV+ has not given a go-ahead to Trying Season 5. However, given that the fourth season ended on a confusing and incomplete note, there are chances for a follow-up season to happen. Esther Smith has said, in an interview, that she would be interested in doing Trying Season 5 since the finale had a cliffhanger.

Rafe Spall has also stated that he would love to return as Jason Ross. Chances are that Apple TV+ will commission another season given the strong response the show has been getting since the beginning of the first season.

What To Expect From It?

If Trying Season 5 is ordered, we can expect it to first address what actually happened with Scott as he was seen in the sea. He might actually be dead. But given the tone of the show, the chances of it happening are very few.
