What Is Evil All About?

Evil is about Dr. Kristen Bouchard (played by Katja Herbers) who works as a forensic psychologist and doesn’t believe in the supernatural. A Catholic church hires her along with David Acosta (played by Mike Colter) and Ben Shakir (played by Aasif Mandvi).

They need to take a look into some strange occurrences and slowly it starts affecting their personal lives. Leland Townsend (Michael Emerson), one of the doctors, starts stalking her and her entire family.

The series is the creation of Michelle King and Robert King who have also executive produced it with Liz Glotzer, Benedict Fitzgerald, and Rockne S. O’Bannon. Evil premiered on September 26th, 2019, and concluded on January 30th, 2020 with 13 episodes. Evil Season 4 started on May 23rd, 2024.

What Happened In The Previous Episode?

Evil Season 4 Episode 1 is called How to Split an Atom and it was released on May 23rd, 2024. Robert King has directed the episode and has co-written it with Michelle King. We see that the eggs of Kristen have been given to Leland Townsend which means that they will have a child. Father Ignatius has decided to replace Monsignor Matthew as the chief of the church for an interim time.

Later, Ben, Kristin, and David go to investigate a video of some people worshipping satan. Mateo Marcus has left a note which has a mysterious phrase written on it. He also states that B33 consists of a gate that leads to hell. He also showcases a video to prove his claims. La Russo is concerned about the causes of the particle accelerator.

There are also scenes that hint that Andy might actually be controlled by Leland. David sees the doorway to hell at B33 and he talks to Andrea about it to clear his doubts. He is questioning the existence of Hell and why god would send anyone there.

What To Expect From Evil Season 4 Episode 2?

Evil Season 4 Episode 2 is named How to Train a Werewolf and it’s penned by Rockne S. O’Bannon. As the title suggests, the episode will showcase a werewolf attacking someone.

However, just when Ben, Kristen, and David take a look into this attack, they realize that something else might be behind it. Meanwhile, Andy Bouchard (played by Patrick Brammall) has his own issues which he is trying to deal with as his wife Kristen is fighting the supernatural.

As Ben is investigating the attacks by the werewolves, he is also dealing with the Jinns. Evil Season 4 Episode 2 will showcase how he deals with it. But he resorts to science and logic instead of beliefs and superstition to tackle this problem. Overall, the episode will continue from where the first episode ended.

The episode will have the same set cast who are a part of this season including Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Kurt Fuller, and Michael Emerson among others. We might also see a new face since a werewolf character might show up in this episode.
