From the years 1974 to 1979, The TV show Good Times was one of the funniest shows on television, aside from also creating history when it became the first Black two-parent family sitcom. Now, Good Times is back again with a reboot, and while the theme of a black two-parent family stays the same, this time, the series has been picked up by Netflix, and will be animated.

The Cast of Good Times

This time around, Good Times is being created and released for the viewers in an animated reboot, which means while you won’t be able to see the star-studded cast, you can revel in their voices that bring the characters to life. The cast members joining the Good Times reboot are J.B Smoove from Curb Your Enthusiasm, Jay Pharoah from The Blackening, Marsai Martin from Black-ish, and Slink Johnson from Black Jesus.
