Land of Women Episode 6

Land of Women Episode 6 Review

Land of Women on Apple TV+ starring Eva Longoria has come to an end with its season finale, episode 6. So far, this series has had a little bit of everything – romance, drama, comedy, chaos, action, and even some suspense.

But, after the cliffhanger in episode 5, there are far too many possibilities that could take place in the season finale, and that’s exactly what happens.

Once again, there are many great performances in the final episode of the season, but what’s more important is that this episode keeps you on your toes the whole time. You will keep guessing what’s next and ultimately wonder about Gala’s decision. There are plenty of answers and here’s our review of Land of Women episode 6.

What is Gala’s Final Decision?

Land of Women Episode 6 picks up at the point where the previous episode ended, where Gala and Amat almost kissed, but were interrupted by the shocking appearance of Fred, Gala’s husband who had been missing since the first episode. Talk about bad timing! Gala and Amat share a brief look before she opens the door for her husband.

Gala is quick to lash out at Fred, a moment all viewers had been waiting for, and it turns out, that Fred not only owes money to Tony but also the bank, leaving Gala shocked. Fred proposes a deal to Gala, one that will likely keep them and the family safe, but it means starting a completely new life.

Once Tony’s hitman, Kevin, hears a commotion, he’s quick to come and investigate, but luckily, Amat, once again, is around to save the day and help Fred escape. A lot is happening for the first ten minutes of the episode, but one can only hope the Land of Women finale finds its pace as it moves forward.

As the episode progresses, and Kevin and Hank are in jail for a few hours, Gala decides that it would be best for them to leave town and go with Fred. At this point, if you find yourself screaming at your screen, you might be in the same boat as us. For once, it is Kate and Julia who want to stay back, or at least not leave with Fred, but Gala is quick to believe that it is their best chance to stay safe, and thus come the goodbyes.

But there’s a little twist when Edna, the woman meant to test and taste the wine comes a day early, and Gala is compelled to stay back for a moment. After plenty of celebration for the winery, it’s time for Julia, Gala, and Kate to leave the town, but not everyone is ready.

Julia decides to stay back in her hometown, and there’s an emotional goodbye between the three women who have been the heart and soul of Land of Women.

Just as Gala says goodbye to Amat, she realizes she doesn’t want to leave. So, she comes up with a plan, one that involves Amat, some cooperation from Kate, and taking back from Fred what she deserves. This is when the finale actually gets more interesting and less emotional, which fits the overall theme that has been displayed so far.

And yes, Amat and Gala finally kiss, which is a moment people have been looking forward to since the very beginning, but this truly was the perfect moment for them. Gala leaves Fred with a note that says, “I can take care of myself,” before she heads back to town with Amat, Kate, and some money she stole from Fred, which was a perfect mini-heist!

Now, one might think everyone has a happy ending, but Land of Women does end with a few question marks, which leaves us wondering if there will be another season!
