Parish marks the return of Giancarlo Esposito on the television screen after his amazing performances in Breaking Bad and the other show Better Call Saul. Just like them, this show is also in the crime genre and is headlined by Esposito as someone with a past filled with mystery. What Is Parish All About?

Parish has been developed by Sunu Gonera and Danny Brocklehurst; the duo has also written the episodes along with Theo Travers. It is a remake of a British show called The Drive which also had Danny as the co-creator.

Parish is about Gracián Parish aka Gray (Giancarlo Esposito) who used to be a criminal but has left all that behind to be a good person for his family. His new found peace in life shatters after his son is killed. This leads him to seek revenge and go back to his earlier form.

The series also stars Zackary Momoh portraying Shepherd Tonghai, Paula Malcomson (Rose Parish), Dax Rey (Luke Tongai), Skeet Ulrich (Colin Broussard), Arica Himmel (Makayla Parish), Bonnie Mbuli (Shamiso Tongai) and Ivan Mbakop (Zenzo Tongai).

Giancarlo and Danny are also the executive producers of the show alongside Eduardo Javier Canto, Jolyon Symonds and David Morrissey among others. Parish premiered on March 31st, 2024.

What Happened In The Previous Episode of Parish?

Parish Episode 3 was titled Sanctuary and it was helmed by Laura Belsey from a script penned by Theo Travers and Ashley Cardiff. April 14th, 2024 was its release date. The episode shows that Anton (Bradley Whitford) has been able to trace the family members of Gray. Viewers get a glimpse of this character who is a gang member and had been mentioned in earlier episodes.

Parish Episode 4 is called Impimpi and is written by Matt Wheeler and J. David Shanks. The episode will be really explosive as it show a moment with the highest stake so far. Anton, who was shown in the previous episode, will be taking the family of Gray hostage.

This means that Gray will have to make decisions wisely otherwise one wrong move from him is what Anton needs to eliminate his loved ones. Gray is going to face his biggest threat and enemy in his life in the upcoming episode.

Since the death of his son, Gray has changed and turned into crime to solve things. But he remains a family person and loves them a lot. So, he will be going to any length and breathe to save his family from any kind of threat.

Parish Episode 4 will be showing a much darker side of Gracián Parish and his past will become his present as he becomes dangerous to tackle another a threat looming on his family. The series has established how vicious he can become if faced with a danger, so this side of him will be in full display in this episode.

Parish Episode 4 will be released on Sunday, April 21st, 2024 on AMC at 9 pm (ET). Since the makers have designed it as a limited series, Parish will have a definite end. It will have six episodes with the final getting released on May 4th, 2024. Episode six will have a 60 minute duration.
