What Is The Equalizer All About?

The Equalizer is about Robyn McCall (played by Queen Latifah) who is a single mother and has divorced recently from her partner. She has a daughter named Delilah (played by Laya DeLeon Hayes). The duo lives in New York City. Robyn used to work for the CIA and has now turned into a vigilante to help people seeking justice for something. The series works as a reboot of the eponymous series from the 1980s.

Latifah is also one of the executive producers along with Liz Friedlander, Debra Martin Chase, John Davis, Randy Zisk, Eric Laneuville, Rob Hanning and Adam Glass. The Equalizer Season 1 premiered on February 7th, 2021, and ended on May 23rd with ten episodes. The Equalizer Season 4 started on February 18th, 2024.

The franchise was started with the original TV shows from the 80s and it inspired three feature-length films starring Denzel Washington. The series is the fourth addition to the franchise.

The Equalizer Season 4 Episode 6 is called DOA and it was directed and written by Paul Holahan and Kim Rome respectively. A Chinese person, who was an agent, is given poison, and they meet McCall seeking help. With some effort, McCall is able to find the person responsible for the attack.

She also finds out the antidote for the poison. Another plot of the episode will revolve around Dee who is told by Aunt Vi to speak up against a person who denies the existence of climate change.
