With a talented cast, intriguing plotlines, and a release date on the horizon, there is no doubt that Season 3 is poised to be another success for the beloved period drama.

If you have been following Netflix, then you surely have kept up with the sneak peeks and date announcement, which has kept the hype alive. We’re here to tell you more about Bridgerton Season 3, so make sure you stick around until the very end, because you wouldn’t want to miss out any detail!

What is the Plot of Bridgerton Season 3?

It will continue to follow the lives and dramas of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they navigate the world of high society in Regency-era London. While the previous season focused on the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony, Season 3 will focus on the tumultuous friendship (sure to become a romance) between Miss Penelope Featherington and Anthony’s younger brother, Mr. Colin Bridgerton.

Loosely following the storyline of Julia Quinn’s novel, Romancing Mister Bridgerton, their relationship has been brewing for years. Despite Colin’s obliviousness to Penelope’s feelings, she has remained by his side as a loyal friend, even after overhearing his dismissal of the idea of courting her.

With scandals, secrets, and steamy romances abound, viewers can expect plenty of drama and intrigue to keep them on the edge of their seats throughout the season.

The Cast of Bridgerton Season 3

Nicola Coughlan will reprise her role as Penelope Featherington alongside Luke Newton, who will play the role of Colin Bridgerton, both of whom will remain the focus of this season. Joining them are Claudia Jessie, Hannah Dodd, Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, James Phoon, and Hannah New amongst others.

When and Where Can You Watch Bridgerton Season 3?

After the show finished filming in March 2023, it was anticipated to be released during the 2023 holiday season, following the pattern of the first season’s Christmas release. Interestingly, the third season will be divided into two parts, with four episodes premiering on 16 May 2024 and another four episodes on 13 June.
