What Is Tokyo Vice All About?

Tokyo Vice takes place in the year 1999 when Jake Adelstein (played by Ansel Elgort), who works as a journalist, shifts to Tokyo, Japan. He prepares and finally excels in an exam to be a part of a newspaper in the country.

He eventually becomes the first foreign journalist in the company. Jake then works with a detective named Hiroto Katagiri (played by Ken Watanabe) to uncover the truth about the Yakuza and others.
