This series revolves around a private detective, aka John Sugar, who is on a mission to find the granddaughter of a big-shot Hollywood producer. While John manages to get friendly with the scary dogs, that isn’t the case with Stallings and his goons, who make sure John is beaten up and stabbed.
But despite the bloody confrontation, John ends up getting out of the situation after several bullets are used and is seen driving through the streets of LA despite bleeding heavily. This was an important and action-packed moment for the series, however, no progress was made when it came to the main problem at hand, aka finding Olivia Siegel.
Speaking of Siegel, Sugar Episode 6 lets the viewers know that Davy is still alive but his condition couldn’t be worse as his brain is completely damaged. Now, two things are possible in this case. One, John’s hallucinations are a lot worse than anyone anticipated, or two, Sugar might be taking a sci-fi turn. Hopefully, Sugar Episode 7 will give the viewers some clarity about John Sugar and whether or not he is human, to begin with, which is something no one would have dreamed of questioning when the series first started.
Sugar Episode 7 is bound to bring John closer to learning the truth about Olivia Siegel, which continues to the main plot of the series, despite all the distractions that have come along. Is Olivia even alive? and considering this series’ penchant for major twists, anything is possible. Sugar Episode 7 has to give viewers some answers, if not all, and especially focus on John Sugar as an individual and who he really is.
