What Is Frankly Speaking All About?

Frankly Speaking is penned by Choi Kyung-sun and helmed by Jang Ji-yeon and it originated from South Korea. It is about a guy named Song Ki-baek (played by Go Kyung-pyo) who works for Ultra FM.

However, he is known for not thinking before speaking anything. On Woo-ju (played by Kang Han-na) is a writer for entertainment programs who notices this condition of Ki-baek. The duo then participates in a love show. Frankly Speaking premiered on May 1st, 2024.

What Happened In The Previous Episode?

Frankly Speaking Episode 10 was released on May 30th, 2024. We see Choi-hui spilling secrets has led to Woo-ju getting trolled online. K-Baek and Woo-ju finally have to admit to everyone that they are in a relationship.

This is because people believe Choi-hui on the show as she has also held Woo-joo responsible for pursuing Yu-yeong. However, Choi-Hui has moved to France but the public is still asking questions to Ki-Baek and Woo-ju.

His father comes to social media to share his story with everyone and defend him. But the channel surrenders to public backlash and the dating show is canceled by them. Later, Woo-joo visits the studio to say sorry but the team feels she is a letdown.

Ki-baek meets Jung-hyeon and they talk about their good days together. A disgruntled fan of Jung-hyeon attacks Woo-ju which ends up making him feel embarrassed. Ki-Baek then decides to give an interview to deny his life for Woo-joo.

So that he can end the drama. However, we see that he ends up confessing again as he can’t deny his love. He also targets Choi-hui for spreading lies. He continues to even corner the viewers who provided blind support to her. She also reveals that Yu-yeong left the show after being threatened by Choi Hui. Ki-Baek is working on a show to help Ji-hu help his family.

What To Expect From Frankly Speaking Episode 11?

Frankly Speaking Episode 11 will pick from the last episode’s ending. The prior episode ended with Ki-Baek’s family meeting with a tragic accident on their way to the hotel for vacation. This happened when he was working on a television reality show. Frankly Speaking Episode 11 will showcase what happened after the crash took place. This might bring a major shift to the personality of Ki-Baek as he might stop speaking without thinking.

Since his words have repercussions sometimes. Park Jin-bok is also present on the set where he is shooting and the two share a history from the first episode. It would be interesting to see how their storyline concludes. Meanwhile, Woo-ju is also wrecked and we will see if all this will affect her relationship with Ki-Baek.

Either their love will grow stronger or they might part ways. Couple Paraside is also in limbo given the comments of Min-cho-hui and she is also in trouble now.
