Parish stars Giancarlo Esposito in the lead and in the titular role of a criminal. Created by Sunu Gonera and Danny Brocklehurst, the series is also penned by them along with Theo Travers. It follows Gracián Parish aka Gray who leaves his world of crime to live a normal life with his family, however, when his son is killed, Parish starts seeking revenge.
Parish premiered on March 31st, 2024 on AMC, and its final episode recently concluded. Since then, fans have been curious about Parish Season 2. The response to the first season has been really strong which has amplified the demand for a second season.

We also see him moving and saving his family who were earlier not aware of his past criminal life.

Is Parish Season 2 Happening?
AMC has not confirmed if Parish Season 2 will be taking place in the future or not. However, we shouldn’t worry since channels and makers often take time to look into every aspect before they determine a second season.
Giancarlo Esposito had said in an interview that he wants to return as Grey if AMC greenlights another season. He said that he wanted the audience to love the show. So far, the reviews have been good so the hopes are really high and chances are for Parish Season 2 to happen.

Parish Season 2 can pick from where the first season ended. The first season showcased Grey finally killing the person who was responsible for the death of his son. But the character of Grey is really interesting and there are a lot of things that the makers can explore in Parish Season 2.
Since he has failed to become a decent person, the follow-up season can follow that arc of his as he goes into the criminal world. The storyline can also focus on his family members. Since Grey has killed many people, the next season can focus on gangs circling around him to seek revenge for them. All this would lead to a lot of gunshed and violence.

Who Will Be In The Cast?
Parish Season 2 should mark the return of the principal cast of the first season including Giancarlo Esposito playing Gracián Parish aka Gray, Paula Malcomson (Rose Parish), Skeet Ulrich (Colin Broussard) and Arica Himmel (Makayla Parish) as well as Amanda Brugel (Sister Anne) among others.
Some characters like The Horse and Anton were killed in the prior season, so they will not be returning for Parish Season 2.
